Some Souls Just Stay With You
Animals have always been a big part of my life—dogs, horses, and all the joy and heartbreak that comes with loving them.
Gomez is 17 now. He has been beside me through some of the hardest chapters of my life, quietly offering the kind of companionship that asks for very little and somehow gives you everything.
And yes, there have been horses too. That’s a whole other chapter. 😂
I went to the opening of a new Rodrock community and somehow ended up with “Andy Reid.” Because in Kansas City, apparently even real estate comes with a side of Chiefs Kingdom. 😂

Confidence is Everything. I Had None
Kathy and I entered a golf tournament at Hallbrook. Apparently, at some point we thought this was a good idea.
Then tournament day arrived.
This is the face of a woman reconsidering every decision that led her to this moment. 😂
